Meta-Description Guidelines – PowerPlatformTip

Purpose: Guidelines for optimal Title Tags and Meta Descriptions

Basic Rules

Title Tags

• Length: 50–60 characters (max. 70)
• Format: [Main Keyword] – [Benefit/Detail] | PowerPlatformTip

• Brand: always at the end with `

  PowerPlatformTip or - PowerPlatformTip`

• Keywords: Primary keyword at the beginning
• Unique: Each page needs individual title

Meta Descriptions

• Length: 120–160 characters (ideal: 155)
• Format: Clear, action-oriented, contains main keyword
• CTA: Inviting (e.g. “Learn”, “Discover”, “Explore”)
• Unique: Each page needs individual description
• Language: English (international audience)
