HTML Editor

Edit HTML and see it in a live preview, right in your browser with no upload.

The HTML editor shows your HTML the way an email or the HTML text control renders it. The preview runs in an isolated frame: styles from a document head apply, scripts and event handlers from foreign HTML do not run. In code mode the toolbar wraps tags around your selection, in visual mode you edit the text directly.

Open HTML Editor

Free. You enter your email address once, then all tools are unlocked. Your data is processed locally in your browser.

How it works

  1. Paste or write HTML, or load a template.
  2. Edit in code mode or visual mode and check the preview.
  3. Copy the HTML and paste it, for example, into the body of Send an email (V2).

Example: email snippet

<h2 style="color:#206360">Request approved</h2>
<p>Hi @{triggerBody()?['Name']},<br>
   your request has been <strong>approved</strong>.</p>

Frequently asked questions

Is the HTML editor free?

Yes.

Is my content uploaded?

No, the preview is rendered locally.

What do I use this for in Power Automate?

For the body of Send an email (V2). You see in advance what the email looks like.

Do scripts run in the preview?

No. The preview is an isolated frame without script execution, so pasting HTML from foreign sources is safe.

Does it support inline styles?

Yes. Inline styles are recommended for email, because many clients ignore styles in the head.

Does it work for the HTML text control in Power Apps?

Yes, you prepare the code for the HtmlText property.
