Replace prefixes in Dataverse solutions, change the publisher prefix and see the managed status, for ZIP and XML, right in your browser.
In a ZIP the tool updates every text file, that is solution.xml, customizations.xml, flow JSON and YAML, plus file and folder names with the prefix. Only matches at the start of a word are replaced, so new_ does not hit renew_. Every run starts from the original ZIP. Enter the publisher prefix without underscore, the way it appears in <CustomizationPrefix>. Canvas apps (.msapp) are only renamed, their content stays unchanged, and the tool tells you so.

What does the tool change in a ZIP?
Every text file (XML, flow JSON, YAML) and file and folder names with the prefix. The content of canvas apps (.msapp) stays unchanged.
How do I enter the publisher prefix?
Without underscore, for example new to myco. 2 to 8 letters and digits are allowed, starting with a letter and not mscrm.
Does the tool convert managed to unmanaged?
Changing only the Managed flag is an unofficial workaround and the import can fail. The supported way from unmanaged to managed is exporting the solution as managed from the development environment. Managed solutions cannot be exported, so there is no supported way back to unmanaged.
Which components does the analysis show?
Tables, flows, canvas apps, environment variables and the RootComponents from solution.xml.
