TL;DR: make.powerapps.com.de and make.powerautomate.com.de are my own shortcut domains that redirect to this tips collection. They are not Microsoft addresses, so never sign in there. For building and administering, bookmark the official Microsoft URLs listed below and always check that the address ends in powerapps.com, powerautomate.com or microsoft.com.

You already type make.powerapps.com dozens of times a day. Add .de and you land on a collection of Power Platform tips. Remove it again and you are back in the maker portal. That’s the whole trick, plus one security habit that matters more than the shortcut.

Finding a quick tip means scrolling through bookmarks or search results. At the same time, look-alike addresses are a classic phishing pattern: a domain that starts like a Microsoft URL but ends differently.

Use the shortcut for reading, and the official Microsoft URLs for everything that needs your account. Telling them apart takes one look at the end of the address.

3. The security habit.

🔸 Read the host name, the part before the first /, from right to left. Its end decides who owns the site, not its beginning. make.powerapps.com ends in powerapps.com and belongs to Microsoft. make.powerapps.com.de ends in .com.de, so it is a completely different domain that Microsoft doesn’t own. Only enter your Microsoft credentials on the official addresses.
